15 LAKHS DONATED TO AP FLOOD VICTIMS

On Sunday, Actor Vikram met AP chief Minister CM Rosiah in his residence and donated 15 Lakhs for the Flood that happened in Andhra Pradesh. The Actor cant able to the attend the Fund contribution program, which was organized by Stars of Tollywood. So, he gave his contribution in-person to the Chief Minister of AP.

VIJAY IN 'SURA'

In Hyderabad, the shooting of Vijay starring 'Sura' is taking place. The Villain for the film is Dev Gil, who is the villain of the Telugu hit 'Mahadeera'. SK Enterprises of Boney Kapoor productions has brought out 30 short films based on several social issues. The films will carry social awareness messages such as drugs, helping old people, crime demolition, addiction and other issues in the society. And the special news is, Salman Khan will be featuring in all these films.

ACTOR BHARATH ESCAPES FROM HELICOPTER CRASH

Actor Bharath has just escaped from a helicopter crash. As he was enjoying his holiday in the US past month had escaped an accident by luck.

When asked about the incident, Bharath says, “Anyone who visits US will feel that it’s an unforgettable tour, but for me it was really haunting this time. The helicopter ride in California is very famous and this time I enjoyed that ride. Having a look at the scenic beauty of the place for half an hour is really a memorable experience. On the day of the accident I along with my friends took the ride and had a view of California from above 1000 feet. Everything was fine with the helicopter till we got down, and then the vehicle was boarded with the next group of tourists. The vehicle was up in the air just for few minutes before it crashed unexpectedly! I can never forget that accident in my life and we all escaped it luckily.”

ROJA BACK TO BIG SCREEN

Roja will soon be seen in the upcoming flim ‘Sambo Siva Sambo’ which is the remake of the Tamil hit ‘Naadodigal’ which was directed by Samuthirkani.

At present, the shooting is going on Ahobilam and the Actress is expected to spend fifteen days for the shooting. She is playing the role of Home Minister in this film. Ravi Teja, Allari Naresh and Siva Balaji are the heroes.

SUN PICTURES TAKES 'VETTAIKAARAN'

The deal is on as the biggest titans have joined hands together for this Diwali. The fans of Ilayathalapathy Vijay can look out for something special from Vijay as his previous couple of films didn’t witness so much success as anticipated.

It has been officially confirmed that Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaaran’ has been acquired by Sun Pictures. Produced by AVM, the film is directed by debutant Babu Sivan, once an associate of Dharani. The film has Anushka in lead role and Vijay Antony’s musical score is set to emblazon the floors high with fever.

WALT DISNEY TO BUY MARVEL

Entertainment major Walt Disney company will acquire Marvel Entertainment, Well known for comics of super heroes, for an estimated $4 billion in a cash and stock deal. Walt Disney said that based on the closing price of its stock on August 28, The transaction was valued of $50 per Marvel Share. "This transaction combines Marvel's strong global brand and world-renowned library of characters included Iron Man, Spider-Man, X-Men, Captain America, Fantastic 4 and Thor with Disney's creative Skills." Walt Disney's president and Chief Executive officer Robert A. Iger Said.
Under the Deal, Disney would acquire ownership of Marve including its more than 5,000 characters.

After the deal is sealed, shareholders of Marvel will receive $30 per share in cash with 0.745 Disney shares for every Marvel Share.

PRIYAMANI AS 'SOORPANAKHA'

The upcoming flick ‘Raavan’ featuring Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai, Vikram in lead roles fast on heels on completion.

Finding an actress for the role of ‘Soorpanakha’ turned to be a speculative task for Mani Ratnam. Most of the leading actresses in Bollywood refused the offer to act as 'Soorpanakha' . Finally, ‘National Award Winner’ Priyamani who was preferred for Tamil, had to be picked for the Hindi version as well.

The actress was 'ok' about doing the role but she asked a fee of 80 lakhs excluding taxes. So, if we calculated the amount including taxes, it comes to a figure of 1crore and 10 lakhs. This big pay made the director to find his way out of her door. The latest buzz in the air is on Suraaj asking his assistants about casting Sripriya or Jayapradha.

For those who do not know Ajay Krishna, he is the son of producer Azhagam Thamizhmani. ‘Surula’ also has Radha Ravi, Nikitha Rawal, Ramesh Khanna, Ganja Karuppu and Azhagam Thamizhmani in key roles.

This big-budget will be made with Mammootty and Sarathkumar in the lead chirps a birdie. Nothing can get better than this for Sanjai Ram! He has named this project as ‘Lingam’.

Sarathkumar and Mammootty are now working together for a multilingual project titled ‘Pazhassi Raja’, which is Sarathkumar’s first film in Malayalam. VIKRAM IN '24'

Chiyaan Vikram's next project will be with Vikram K. Kumar. The film was named as '24'.

Actually, Selvaragavan had read out a script to Vikram and ready to do the project, but the Director was busy with 'Maalai Naerathu Mayakam' starring Dhanush and Andrea. So Vikram decided to do an another project in the mean time.

'Abiyum Naanum', the film was produced by Prakash Raj and He itself acted in the film as a father for Trisha. Music Magician A.R. Rahman will be re-recording the music for the Well-acclaimed movie 'Roja', which was directed by Mani Ratnam. A.R. Rahman started his career with 'Roja' only. And the movie has touched the skies with a huge success. Even though Rahman is busy with National and International project, he going to do the re-recording. The Movie 'Roja' will be dubbed in English and going to be released overseas.

SASI KUMAR FOR REEL LIFE PRODUCTIONS

The master in the making of 'Subramaniyapuram', will be doing a film shortly with Reel Life Productions. Reel life productions is owned by Actor Vikram. Actor Vikram offered that his company would produce 'Subramaniyapuram' but Sasikumar didn't have enough space to work under someone. But now Sasikumar seems to be taking this offer.

At present Sasikumar is working with a Untitled project, some sources said after finishing the movie, the movie will be titled. But Vikram won't act in the movie and he won't do any guest appearence also. The film's music was composed by James Vasanthan. Samuthirakani also plays a lead role in the film. The film doesn't have a hero but it revolves around 10 characters.

'ANJATHEY' IN HINDI

Director Priyadarshan got impressed with Mysskin's 'Anjathey' and Priyadarshan approached Mysskin to do the film in hindi. Mysskin also accepted to do the project. But he also told that after finishing the movie with Kamal Haasan, then only he will start the project. So, soon Mysskin will start to shoot in Mumbai.

'VIDATHEY PIDI'

In the film 'Vidathey Pidi', comedian Vivek and Vadivelu are starring together. The film was going to be directed by T.P. Gajendran. The film also has twelve other tamil leading comedians. But, both Vivek and Vadivelu rejected script that they wont act in the film. Even the director doesnot worry, he is still on the way to do the project without them.

QUICKIE MOVIE FROM SUPERSTAR

Superstar is planning to do quickie movie like 'Kuselan' which was released on 2009. Because Shankar's 'Robot' will only be released on 2010, so he decided it. 'Kuselan' which caused a damage to Superstar's image and loss for theatre owners, the Star decided to do a quickie movie. And he sorted out Rs. 7 crore will be paid to the theatre owners over the loss, so he is looking for a trusted director to do the film. So he is still in a dilemma.

VIJAY ENTRY TO POLITICS

Actor Vijay told that he will come to polictics only after gaining some knowledge about it and this is not the right time for him to enter, He told this in Vijay Rasigar Narpani Mandram's welfare schemes distribution function. He stated that he will enter politics only with a thorough thought and speaking with experienced persons. Until that he will continue welfare schemes from the Rasigar mandram's.

UNNAIPOL ORUVAN IS ON SEP...

Kamal Hassan and Mohanlal starring 'Unnaipol Oruvan' will be realeased by September. The is a remake of the hindi film ' A Wednesday' which has Anupam Kher and Nasarudin Shah as lead. Mohanlal plays as a police, which is played by Anupam Kher and Kamal will holding the character of Nasarudin shah.

The film is set to be released on Sep 18..

Kamal has also accepted a project with 'Yudham sei' which will be directed by Mysskin.

UNNAIPOL ORUVAN...

Ulaganayagan's 'Unnaipol Oruvan' will be released on september 3rd week because some parts of the film has yet to be fulfilled. The dubbing of the film is going in a full fast process.

Before we see kamal on the big screen, we will hear the voice of him in a song, for the film 'Unnai...'. The great actor's daughter Sruthi Haasan is composing the music and her dad will sing the song. The song was recorded in SPB charan's Gothandapani Recording Studio which is in Vadapalani.

ENDHIRAN TO BE RELEASED ON...

Super star starring 'Endhiran' which was directed by Shankar, has 90% finished and 10% only remaining. So the film will be released on the occasion of Diwali.

And Dhanush's 'Kutty' will be also released on diwali. Dhanush has asked the producer of 'Kutty' to sell it to the Sun pictures. But Mithran Jawahar didn't want 'Kutty' to join the race in Diwali so he asked sun pictures to release the film after the release of 'Ninaithalae Inikum'

ARYA & POOJA AGAIN...

'Poo' Director Sasi will be directing a Action film. The director has decided that Arya will be the good hero for the film. So, he told about the script to Arya and Arya also accepted to do the project.

And the director suggested Pooja as the heroine because they two are close friends after the 'Naan Kadavul' movie, which will have good chemistry between them.

SEEMAN AS HERO...

Director/Actor Seeman will be the hero of the film 'Puyal' which is going to be directed by the producer of 'Mayaandi Kudumbathar'.

And Seeman is also going to direct 'Seemanin Kobam' which has Maddy in lead. And seeman has told about the project to 'Kalaipuli' Thanu and the producer was happy about the project.

SAMUTHIRAKANI'S PLANS...

After the success of 'Nadodigal', director Samuthirakani is busy with remaking the film in telugu as 'Sambo siva sambo' which has Ravi Teja in lead role. After finishing the Telugu Version, The director will do it in the Kanada version.

Besides this the Director written a Script which will fit for Vijay or Suriya. He said that the film will be without any compromise on commercial elements. And soon he will meet vijay and Suriya to discuss about the script. And the Movie will be a mega budget and it will take atleast two years to complete the film.

He also said that he will be acting in a film directed by Sasikumar, and once again Sasikumar will act in his directorial venture.

He has also a plan to write script for television serial soon.

BRITNEY IN WORLD WAR II

Britney spears is starring in the film 'World War II'.

The story would revolve around her character building a time machine to travel back to the 1940s, where she falls in love with a Jewish man named Eton in a concentration camp and attempts to bring him back to the present day.

The news is yet to be confirmed by the Spears camp.

ANJALINA INJURED

The 33-year-old was shooting an action sequence for upcoming thriller 'Salt' in New York when she suffered "a minor bump to the head".

Columbia Pictures spokesman Steve Elzer said Angelina Jolie was taken to a local hospital as a "precautionary measure".

He added she was back on set later that day and production had resumed.

MICHAEL JACKSON FILM

Michael Jackson film to hit cinemas on october 30, 2009.
The film will consist of rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage shot while Jackson prepped to perform 50 concerts in London. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL helmer Kenny Ortega, who choreographed the show, will direct the film, the material for which was shot in HD in June at Staples Center and the Forum in Los Angeles.
